The Bible says: “Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” “Mammon” being “money.” It would do us well to yield ourselves to serve the Lord, we should do as a barbarous king, who when he is coroneted to the crown immediately put to death all those things who oppose him. This will hinder them from usurping authority over him and destroy his crown. With regard to sin and worldliness, a lot of God’s children are severely autocratic. Everything that hinders a child of God from exercising his privileges and authority as a son of God should be crucified. “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh, which the affections and lust.” )Galatians 5:24) “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted after, they have erred fro the faith.” )1 Timothy 6:10
